Lance R. Behm, D.M.D.
Lance R Behm, DMD,
established Dakota Kids Dentistry in 2001. A
native of Minot, he enjoys being back home
with family and friends. Dr. Behm is a Minot
High and University of North Dakota
graduate. While at UND, he competed on the
swim team serving as team captain and
earning 10 All American Awards. He received
his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple
University School of Dentistry. While
attending dental school at Temple, he served
as class president. Dr. Behm completed two
years of advanced specialty training in a
hospital based pediatric dentistry at St.
Christopher's Hospital for Children. His
pediatric training allows him to treat
childhood dental issues. It also enables
him to effectively deal with emotions of
children to pave the way for a positive
adult experience. Dr. Behm is an active
member in the Minot Dental Society,
Northwest District Dental Society, American
Dental Association and the American Academy
of Pediatric Dentistry. In his spare time he
loves hiking, swimming and camping with his
wife Stephanie, and their two dogs, Cooper
and Chloe.

Desidy Rohrer
Desidy came to Dakota Kids Dentistry in August of 2007 and then rejoined our team in September of 2008 to become our Office Manager and Personal Relations Coordinator. As our PRC she represents our office to many referring practices and works with external and internal marketing programs to promote Dakota Kids Dentistry to the surrounding communities. Also, Desidy recently took on the role of surgery coordinator, she will be maintaining Dr. Behm's daily schedule as well as his surgery schedule. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason and two beautiful children, Benjamin and Gabrielle. In her spare time she also enjoys camping, scrap booking, traveling and photography. |

Bridget Schaefer
Bridget joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in March 2006. She is our new Business Manager as well as our financial/insurance coordinator. She earned her business degree from Minot State University in the spring of 1995. Bridget handles the day to day business operations and insurance of Dakota Kids Dentistry. She has been a wonderful addition to the Dakota Kids Dentistry team. Bridget is always ready to assist parents with financial or insurance issue that may arise. She currently resides on the family farm in Des Lacs, ND with her husband Bryan and her two sons, Riley and Tyler, and her three daughters, Holly, Megan, & Kati. She enjoys reading, camping, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.

Michele Lewellyn
Michele has been a Registered Dental
Assistant for 13 years.
She started working in
pediatric dentistry for Dakota Kids
Dentistry in April 2001.
She is certified in
chair-side assisting, dental
radiology, CPR, and operating room
procedures.
Michele is also the staff's
Dental Assisting Supervisor and
Office Supply Manager.
Michele takes great pride in
her work and makes sure that each
patient she sees, feels comfortable
and at ease with their surroundings.
She is dependable and fully
committed to exceptional patient
care.
Michele is a
Minot
native and lives with her husband
Rich, daughter Kylee and their two
Dachshunds, Rocky and Buttons. She also has an older son, Randy and
his daughter, Isabella who also
resides in
Minot.
She treasures spending time
with her family, camping, jet
skiing, working out, decorating,
scrap booking and cooking.
She
enjoys working with children, Dr.
Behm and the entire Dakota Kids
staff. |

Aaron Parslow
Aaron graduated from Minnesota State
Community and Technical in May 2007 as a
Registered
Dental Hygienist.
She began at Dakota Kids
Dentistry in June 2007.
Aaron has been a valuable
addition to the Dakota Kids
Dentistry team.
She always has a smile on her
face and strives to make each visit,
exciting and fun for each and
everyone of our little patients.
Aaron also goes to area
schools to educate children on
proper brushing techniques and
overall good oral hygiene.
Aaron is originally from the
Powers Lake area but now resides in Minot
with her husband Jeff and son,
Lucas.
She also likes spending time
with her family and friends, as well
as reading and watching Minnesota
Vikings Football.

Anna Marquart
Anna received her dental assisting
degree from North Dakota State
College of Science and joined Dakota
Kids Dentistry in May 2005.
She is registered in chair
side assisting, dental radiology,
nitrous oxide monitoring and
operating room procedures.
Anna enjoys working with
children, which makes her a huge
asset to our team, she is always
upbeat and strives to make every
little patient feel welcomed.
She is a native of Drake, North Dakota but resides
with her husband, Chad and son,
William in
Burlington.
She enjoys spending time
outdoors with her family and
friends.

Amber Brown
Amber attended Southwest Texas State. She has been working in the dental field since 2002 and became a certified dental assistant in 2009. Amber joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in August of 2007. Her vast knowledge of a working dental office has made her a wonderful team member. Amber has taken on a new roll at Dakota Kids Dentistry, she is our new patient coordinator. Amber greets all of our patients with a friendly smile and cheerful attitude to make each patient and their families feel welcomed. Her bubbly personality and smile help each little patient feel comfortable. Amber resides in Des Lacs with the love of her life, Robert and their three children, Jolee, Peyton, & Leo. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kristin Carstens
Kristin received her associate of
science degree in dental hygiene
from the North Dakota State College
of Science in May of 2005. She
joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry
team in May 2005. She enjoys the
challenge of working with children
along with teaching home care skills
and nutritional awareness that will
help every child have a cavity free
smile. Kristin also visits schools
to educate classrooms on oral
hygiene and proper nutrition to
maintain a healthy smile. She is
originally from Lansford, but
resides in Burlington with her husband Corey, and son
Luke. She enjoys spending time with
family and friends as well as
camping, fishing, skiing and
hunting.

Hanna Damlo
Hanna is the newest member of
the Dakota Kids Dentistry team. She
is a Minot native and received her
associate degree in dental hygiene
from Argosy University in 2007.
Hanna's favorite part of her job is
working with kids and providing them
with the education for maintaining a
wonderful smile. She will be a great
and valuable addition to our staff.
She thrives in making each visit a
fun and exciting one, as well as an
educational one. She resided in
Minot with her husband, Tyler and her
two cats. Hanna likes to mountain
bike, camp, and spend time with her
family and friends.

Mamie Detlaff
Mamie graduated from MSCTC-Moorhead in 2004 with a dental assisting degree and joined Dakota Kids Dentistry in the summer of 2006 as a dental assistant to Dr. Behm. With a hygiene career in mind, Mamie returned to NDSCS-Wapheton to earn her hygiene degree. After graduating in May of 2010, Mamie once again joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team. She is excited to be back and working with kids again. Mamie likes to create a fun but educational environment for each little patient that visits Dakota Kids Dentistry. She resides in Minot with her daughter, Dezi and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
